We create HD (1080i)videos from photos via MPEG2. The movies show up on the Media Share menu and when selected start to play but then shut down with the comment "unable to access media". The movies play perfectly well on another system, but I prefer the UI of DirecTV. I have been told this might be a bit rate issue with DirecTV. What are your thoughts?
DirecTV Media Share will not access movies made in WMV format. Do you know if there is any plan for DirecTV to expand its format capability to WMV?
Yes. I have heard info from employees at directv that this fall Directv will be expanding on the capabilities of the meadia center functions of the hd dvr receivers. Im not sure of the exact time all i know is that its suppose to be this year
